Old Mutual Box
A corporate hospitality box at Loftus Versfeld — surveyed and drawn for one of the practice's largest clients, documented as a full drawing set, and taken through to a complete renovation of the suite.

Brief
This one was personal — Loftus Versfeld was my old stomping ground from schoolboy rugby days in Pretoria, and I walked back in with a survey kit. The job started as an inspection: go through Old Mutual’s hospitality box, document every bit of damage, and come back with a full set of drawings and a quotation for the repairs. The box was in rough shape — and a hospitality box lives or dies on how it feels on match day.
Approach
I surveyed the box and captured it as an A101 sheet — plan, south elevation, and a door and window legend — and priced the repairs against it. Then I went a step further than the inspection asked for: alongside the plans, I modelled the box and rendered what the suite could look like once it was sorted — face-brick piers, oak counters over white shaker cabinetry, a dropped bulkhead with recessed linear light over the servery. Those renders won us the contract. Then we renovated it: new ceiling, new paint, the brickwork varnished and finished properly, new carpets, every bit of damage repaired floor to ceiling. Old Mutual brought their own furniture and styling; our job was handing back a box they could host their most important guests in again.
